Trust & Safety

KinderCare Safety Guidelines

At KinderCare, our mission is to provide a sanctuary of safety for your loved ones. To maintain a secure environment, we require all community members to adhere to the following standards.

1. Guidelines for Caregivers (Sitters)

Your role is built on trust and professional responsibility. To remain active on the KinderCare platform, you must:

Digital Transparency

All communication and payments must stay within the KinderCare platform to ensure a digital paper trail for your protection and the family's.

Verify Identity

Keep your legal identification and state-required certifications up to date in our system.

Virtual Interviews

Always participate in the mandatory 15-minute virtual meeting via the platform's Zoom link before accepting an in-person job from a new family.

2. Guidelines for Families

Safety is a shared responsibility. We ask families to:

Complete Your Profile

Provide accurate details about your children's needs, allergies, and emergency contact information.

Virtual First-Meetings

Never host a sitter without conducting a virtual interview first to confirm compatibility and verify their identity.

Secure Environment

Ensure your home environment is safe and that any household rules are clearly communicated to the caregiver.
